For many years Chlotine was an avid churchgoer and loved attending religious singings. In later years she focused that energy on spiritual television and books of faith and miracles.
Chlotine enjoyed keeping flowers around her patio and watching the hummingbirds that frequented the kitchen window of her home. She embraced technology and began surfing the internet on her television with a Web TV unit long before laptops were prevalent. In more recent years her iPad and iPhone were never far away. As many of us know, she used them day or night, lol!
Chlotine also enjoyed crafts and puzzles. She enjoyed many hours at her dining room table working puzzles into the wee hours of the morning. She was very enthusiastic about the St Louis Cardinals. Though the last game she attended was with the assistance of a wheelchair, she had an adventurous ride back to her car in an open-air shuttle and a good time was had by all!
All of her family loved when she put her wonderful country cooking skills to work and prepared a big holiday meal. Recently she shared the story of the origin of her famous hot tamales while teaching the family how to prepare them.
