Chris Brooks

Chris Brooks (nee Maloney), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the age of 75. Beloved wife of 55 years to Curtis Brooks; cherished daughter of the late Vince and Margaret Maloney. Devoted mother of Carrie (Steve) O'Connell; loving grandmother of Haley O'Connell; dear sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. 

Chris had a successful career at True Manufacturing where she worked for over 17 years. She also partnered with her husband to own and operate Brooks Construction, doing all their administrative work. Chris was a member of the Night lifers and enjoyed Cardinal games, spending time with her friends, going to the Muny, shopping and reading. 

Chris was a faithful member of Chapel of the Cross for over 20 years, and a former member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was truly selfless through her dedicated volunteer work at her church and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Whether supporting community events or assisting those in need, her compassion shined, making a positive impact on the lives of others. Chris’s family was her world and she loved to take her daughter and granddaughter on a girls trip every year. Chris was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
