Christine Evelyn (Pruitt) (Schaefer) Easton

Christine Evelyn (Pruitt) (Schaefer) Easton of St. Peters, MO passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 in her home and surrounded by her family at the age of 90 years old. She was born on September 28, 1930 in St. James, MO to Pearl Ethel (Bowen) (Pruitt) Earp and Hoarce Fredrick Pruitt.

She was preceded in death by Frank Schaefer and husband Richard Easton. Christine was a devoted mother of three sons: John Schaefer Sr., David Schaefer, and Dan Schaefer (wife Lucy).

She was also a cherished Grandmother of three: Tina Anderson (husband Rich), John Schaefer Jr. (wife Erika) and Samantha Schaefer. And a loving great grandmother of 12: Josh, Nick, Makayla, Lenea, John II, Elizabeth, Hayden, Joey, Jacob, Amber, Bella and Ben. And dear Great-Great Gramma of 2, Jace and Leo Christine was also loved by many dear friends and other family.

Christine retired from Parkway School District as a manager of the school's food department. She raised 3 boys while being an active PTO mom, Boy Scout leader and number one fan at all sporting events. She married her late husband Richard Easton in December of 1982 and together they loved on their grandchildren as they attended numerous sporting events, birthday parties, concerts and hosted countless family gatherings.

As Christine's Alzheimer's progressed, she always found joy in her family especially kids, babies and dogs. Her hobbies were gardening, collecting beanie babies, scrapbooking pictures, shopping and of course grandkids. She will be missed by ALL.

Memorials may be made in Christine's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
