Christine Henrietta Ahrens

Memorials may be given to Masses. Christine Henrietta Ahrens, 98, of Shell Knob, MO, passed away June 9, 2005 at home. Mrs. Ahrens was born December 22, 1906 in Bowling Green, Missouri, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Kohen) Wilmes. On October 5, 1923, she was united in marriage to Lawrence George Ahrens. He preceded her in death in November, 1963. Christine was a homemaker whose life focused around her husband, children and grandchildren. She resided in St. Louis and St. Charles, Missouri, until moving to Shell Knob Missouri in 1999. Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Larry Scoggins of Shell Knob; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and her sister, Frances Feldman. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Virginia Wier and Betty Ahrens; four sisters and three grandchildren.
