Christine Koenig

Christine Koenig (nee Wilhelm), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the age of 70. Beloved daughter of the late Richard and Marjorie Wilhelm; devoted mother of Lori (Chad) Boatman, and Jason (Misty) Koenig; former spouse of Ron Koenig; cherished grandmother of Dema Boatman, Aidan Koenig, Madalyn Boatman, Samuel, Ethan, and Maria Koenig; dear sister of Kathy (Ken) DeBeer, Shelly (Tom) Fitzgerald, Sandy (David) Cole, Rick (Alison) Wilhelm, and the late David Wilhelm; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Christine was a woman of strong faith. One of her early morning habits was to pray the rosary every day. She worked at her family's business, Koenig's Farm Fresh produce, for over 30 years. She also worked for Midwest Breast Care Center and retired in 2016. After retirement, she loved to go out to eat with her friends and family. Christine also loved going to the casino and watching TV, particularly the news. Family was her life, she loved nothing more than to spend time with her family and grandkids. She always looked forward to attending all of her grandkid’s events. Christine was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Christine's name to American Diabetes Association.
