Christine Lillian Paul (nee Brown), of Moscow Mills, MO, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at the age of 82. Beloved daughter of the late Clyde Austin Brown; Mother, Jessie Golda Brown; devoted mother of Laura McKiddy, Susan (Scott) Moser, Kelly Paul, and Scott Paul; cherished grandmother of Justin, Jessie, and Ian McKiddy, Tyler, Tanner, and Hayden Moser, and Carrick Paul; dear sister of Lawrence (Judy) Brown; former spouse of Glennon Paul; she is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Christine is preceded in death by her siblings, Edward Brown, Rosalie Glover, and Danny Brown.
Christine graduated from Wellston High School in 1955 and attended Washington University. After high school, she worked at 3M as a telephone switchboard operator and inventory clerk until her marriage on April 11, 1959, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Louis, MO. After having four children she went back to school and graduated from the Missouri Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in July 1975. She worked as a floor nurse at Christian Northeast Hospital for 25 years then worked as a home health nurse for six years retiring in 2008. Christine bought a 100-year-old house in Alton, MO., and rehabbed it from top to bottom in the mid-1980s.
Christine had a great passion for oil painting. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Christine was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
