Christopher Scott Hopper

Christopher Scott Hopper, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 56. Beloved husband of Teresa Carter; cherished son of Richard A. Hopper and the late Eleanor J. Hopper; devoted father of Rachel Hopper, Ananiah Hopper, and stepfather of Tyler Carter and Katelynn Carter; dear brother of Kenneth Hopper and the late David Hopper; loving uncle of Kevin Hopper, Collin Hopper, Patricia (Josh) Pardee-Jaka, Britney (Ricky) Doyle, Anna (Matt) French, Stephanie (Michael) Braunfeld, Michael Gerling, Jessica (Nick) Graceffa, Jason Evans, and great uncle of Noelle Hopper, Jones Jaka, James Jaka, Alexandra Doyle, and Charlotte Doyle; treasured brother-in-law of James (Joyce) Evans, Debi (Michael) Head, and Christy (Michael) Gerling.

Chris proudly and honorably served in the United States Military and was a dedicated, hard-working individual, spending nearly 20 years at RICOH where he was highly respected as a senior manager. A proud nerd, he had a deep love for Sci-Fi—especially Doctor Who—and enjoyed attending Comic Con. Chris challenged himself to read every day and found joy in playing games and immersing himself in books. He was selfless, generous, and always put others before himself, especially his children, whom he loved deeply and thought about constantly. Often seen in a baseball hat and flashing his beautiful smile, Chris was full of love, a bit stubborn, silly, fearless, and entirely selfless. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Chris’ name to the American Cancer Society.
