Chuck Zelsman, of O’Fallon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the age of 79. Loving husband of Cheryl Zelsman; beloved son of the late Mehnert Charles and Irene Forrest Zelsman; devoted father of Allan Zelsman, Michelle Zelsman, and David (Nubia) Zelsman; cherished grandfather of Daniel, Stephanie, and Jacob; dear brother of Jennifer (Mark) Shapley.
Chuck had a great sense of humor and loved to make jokes. He was always able to brighten up a room and make everyone laugh. Chuck loved cars, and his family is hoping he is up in Heaven sitting in his own rat rod or going to auctions. He enjoyed collecting old radios, old clocks, and was always on a hunt for anything antique. Chuck was also a ham radio operator and had the gift of gab, as he never met a stranger. He had many occupations and adventures (The Chucksters Big Adventures) throughout his life, as there are too many to list, however he was a St. Louis Boxing Judge for many years and a Kansas City Policeman.
Chucks family was very important to him as he was a great grandpa and loved his dogs. Chuck liked hanging out with his family and friends at his cabin in Fulton, Missouri. He enjoyed riding his side by side and golf carts, and would talk to everyone, as everyone was his friend. Chuck was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
