Cindy L. Crites was born June 12, 1973 in Creve Coeur, Missouri. She died at home in O’Fallon, Missouri Thursday morning October the 14
th from ovarian cancer. Her last days were surrounded by loving family; parents Judy and Roger Crites, sisters Valerie (Ray) Vuichard, Stacy (Don) Stansbery, and Kathy (Chris) Miller; and her nieces and nephews, Ariel and Trey Vuichard, Alex and Angela Stansbery, and Mariam, Peyton, and Christian Miller.
Cindy graduated from Hazelwood East in 1991. Her education continued, obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. She held various engineering positions at the Boeing Company and contributed to several programs that support national defense.
After 20 years at Boeing, Cindy left the company to start an entrepreneurial venture. Unfortunately, her effort was cut short by cancer.
Cindy was a valued friend to all who knew her. They will miss her dearly. Active in church, she served as director of Vacation Bible School and Sunday School superintendent among others. A person of faith, she was ready to go home to heaven.
Memorial contributions in Cindy’s name may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, Shriner's Children’s Hospital, or the Ronald McDonald House.
