Clair Navarrette
August 12, 1930 — June 11, 2022
Clair Navarrette, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Sharon Navarrette; devoted father of Steven (Tina) Navarrette, Susan (Paul) Kluegel, Rosanne Huff and Thomas (Lisa) Navarrette and step-father of Beth Ann Ruprecht and Mark Mudrovic; loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren, including Michael's daughter, Jessica Beilsmith, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; dear brother of Frances Zaragoza. Clair is preceded in death by his son, Michael Navarrette, his parents, Celedono and Rosemary Navarrette and four sisters, Louise Larranga, Susie Simmons, Antolina Navarrette-Arteaga and Dorothy Farrar.
Clair was a proud United States Air Force veteran. He enjoyed helping people and volunteered at many places throughout his life, including YMCA St. Charles for 22 years, SSM St. Joseph Health Center for 32 years, Wings of Hope, Habitat for Humanity, Oasis Food Pantry, American Legion of St. Charles and was on Honor Flight 2015. He also did multiple volunteer jobs at St. John U.C.C. He was also very computer literate. Clair was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
