Claire Ann Cooper

Claire Ann Cooper (nee Swan), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of 63 years to William DuNard Cooper; cherished daughter of the late Clarence and Dorothy Swan; devoted mother of Mark (Jennifer) Cooper and Brent (Michelle) Cooper; loving grandmother of Isabelle Cooper, Lily Cooper, Taylor Cooper, and William “Will” Cooper; dear sister of the late Sue Traylor; treasured aunt, cousin and friend to many.  

Ann was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church and was a part of their quilters group. Her talent in quilting was undeniable; her intricate design and expert stitching form transformed fabrics into works of art. 

Ann was a kind woman who enjoyed staying busy. She was hardworking, holding numerous jobs including working for YMCA and Matthews Medical Books. Ann enjoyed vacationing with her family, creating many memories of the many places they visited. Her laugh was loud, and you knew when she was tickled. Ann will be remembered as a voice of reason that helped ground others. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Ann 's name to Cornerstone United Methodist Church or Mercy Hospice.
