Clara B. Heembrock

Heembrock, Clara B., of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Clemence Arthur Heembrock. She was preceded in death by sisters Margaret Zipfel, Martha Luetkemeyer, Charlotte Heitman, Marie Ricterkessing, brother Henry Kettler, and one great-granddaughter. Loving mother of Charlotte (Ben) Bartley, Margie (Dan) Robinson, Margaret (Bill) Keyes. Grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Born August 3, 1915 in Orchard Farm to Herman and Charlotte Kettler. Attended St. Charles High School, graduating in 1934. Married Clem Heembrock in 1944. Part owners of Clem and Paul's Confectionery and St. Charles Supermarket. Retired from National Food Store. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Clara lived a blessed life of 96 years surrounded by her children, grandchildren, family and friends. The joys of her life were taking care of her family and working on her many craft projects throughout her life. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or the building fund of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles.
