Clarence Bernard ''Ben'' Dixon was born on August 5, 1917 in Cairo Illinois to Clarence Lee and Della Dixon. His loving parents preceded him in death. Mr. Dixon was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville Missouri. He was a 60 year member of IBEW Local #309 and a 50 year member of the American Legion in Venice Illinois. He was a member of the Venice Social Club for over 60 years and of the Knights of Columbus in Granite City Illinois. Mr. Dixon was also a Boy Scout Troop Committee member for Troop 1 in Venice Illinois. Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife Marie L. Dixon (nee: Zarlingo) of Wentzville Missouri, his sons, Larry Rozycki (Becky) of Pleasant Hill Missouri, Michael Dixon (Kathleen) of Creve Coeur Missouri, Robert Dixon (Lea) of Lake Sherwood Missouri, and Richard Rozycki (Jeanne) of O'Fallon Missouri, one brother, Melvin Dixon of Bellflower California, and nine grandchildren.
