Born December 7, 1920 in Kansas City, Kansas. Passed away March 15, 2015.
Survived by his wife, Elizabeth of 74 years. Daughter, Patricia Hunt-Volmer and son-in-law, Melvin Volmer of Lake St. Louis, Missouri. Grandsons, Brian Hunt (Helle) in Oslo, Norway, Darren Hunt (Jessica) in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Bonus Grandson, Brian Volmer (Dana) in Anthem, Arizona, and Bonus Granddaughter, Kristy Willenbrink in Scotsdale, Arizona. Eight Great Grandchildren: Daniel, Weston, Colton, Carson and Lilah Rose Hunt, Tea Hunt, and Aidan and Siena Volmer. Brother, Dr. Henry Wellman (Evelyn) and six Wellman daughters, spouses and children.
Lived 90 years in the greater Kansas City area. Moved from Weatherby Lake to reside in St. Louis September, 2010.
He owned grocery stores, was a butcher by trade and did safety work for Gustin Bacon manufacturing company and the city of Kansas City, Missouri. He and his wife were long time members of Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church in Kansas City.
Loved and admired by all who knew him. He maintained a great sense of humor and a positive outlook throughout his life. Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
