Clarice R. Pfarrer

Clarice R. Pfarrer (nee Rothermich), of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 7th, 2024, at the age of 92.

Loving wife of the late Donald Pfarrer; beloved sibling of the late Mary Jane Vehige (Barney) and Kenneth Rothermich (Betty); devoted aunt of Debra (John) Russell, Darryl (Judy) Rothermich, and Denise (Ted) Howard; cherished great aunt of Shelby Clark, Michael Howard, Matthew (Ashley) Howard and Brittany Colley.

Clarice attended Miss Hickey’s Training School for Secretaries and worked at McDonnel Douglas for ten years. Clarice and Donald met while he was in college and married in 1956. The couple lived in Illinois and New York before settling in Clayton, Missouri.

Clarice enjoyed spending time with her beloved pets (Pammy, Punky, and Tuffy), reading, gardening, gourmet cooking, home decorating, shopping, boating, playing video poker and lunching with her close friends. She loved trying out new restaurants and taking road trips all over the country. 

Clarice was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Clarice's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
