Claud W. Howard

Howard, Claud W. of St. Charles, died on Monday, October 12, 2015, at the age of 84. Loving husband of Eileen Howard; beloved son of the late Claud W. and Dovea D. Howard, Sr.; devoted father of Karen (Kim) Rosselot, Gary (MaryLou) Howard, Janet (Kevin) Meyers, Linda Howard, and Keith (Shannon) Howard; cherished grandfather of Chad Lucks, Sean (Brooke) Howard, Alex Howard, Kristin (Karl) Gilbertson, Nick Howard, Kelly Fitzgerald, Kaitlin Howard, Ryan Fitzgerald, and Reilly Howard; treasured great-grandfather of Mickey Lucks, Taylor Burris, Wesley Gilbertson, and Graham Howard; dear brother of Theron (Deborah) Howard. He is preceded in death by his grandson Patrick Howard, his brother Curtis (Cathy) Howard, and his daughter-in-law Kathleen Howard.

Claud proudly served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean War.  He was a member of the Senior Cletes, and the Knights of Columbus. He loved playing horseshoes and watching St. Louis Blues Hockey. He was also an avid fan of the Mizzou Basketball and Football teams. Claud enjoyed Civil War history, watching birds, playing Pinochle, and listening to country and bluegrass music. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
