Claude Steele

Claude Samuel Steele, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 89 on Sunday, April 5, 2020. Claude is survived by his children, Sam (Jeanne) Steele and Sandra Steele; his grandchildren, Derek (Rachel) Steele and Logan (Jessica) Steele; his great-grandchildren, Xavier and Alexandra Steele, and Kellie and Barrett Steele; and his brother, Phillip (Ruth) Steele.
Claude was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lydia “Joyce” Steele; and his parents, Arthur and Eva Steele.
Claude was proud of serving his country as a member of the US Navy. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed all the times he spent outdoors fishing, playing golf, and boating. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial contributions in Claude’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
