Cleo G. Leech

Leech, Cleo G., (nee: Ward), of St. Peters, MO, died on Monday, November 21, 2016, at the age of 77. Loving wife of Wayne Leech; beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Royal Ward; devoted mother of Gary (Lucene) Leech, Gail Leech, James (Terry) Leech, and Steven (Diane) Leech; cherished grandmother of Adam (Stephanie) Leech, Jessica (Ben) Fellman, Cindi (Doug) Banstetter, Kayla Leech, Briana Leech, and Amanda Buck; treasured great-grandmother of Jonny Anderson and one on the way; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister Pauline Dicus and her infant sister Shirley Ward.

Cleo worked for Maryville University for over 25 years, working her way up to the title of Senior Custodial Supervisor, and retired in 2000. She and her husband, Wayne, were active members of the Moose Lodge of St. Charles, and they also enjoyed playing in a bowling league at Frontier Lanes in O’Fallon for many years. In Cleo’s spare time, she enjoyed painting, making crafts, and cooking for her family. Above all, she enjoyed spending quality time and making memories with her family and friends. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
