Cletis E. Sparks

Sparks, Cletis E. "Clet", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the age of 84. Dearest husband of the late Bernice Sparks; beloved son of the late Orie E. and Xina Sparks; devoted father of Sharon (Jim) Taff and Pat (Bob) Pickering; cherished grandfather of Shelley Bradley, Stephanie White, Jason Taff, Jonathan, Lindsay and Lauren Pickering; dear great-grandfather of 3; many loving cousins. He is preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Powell. Clet loved to travel and camp with his family, enjoyed flying his plane and farming in Bowling Green. Clet spent years as a supervisor at McDonnell Douglas improving production efficiencies. He was a skilled wood carver, sharing his skills by teaching many night students. Clet loved restoring classic cars and was a member of The Classic Car and The Studebaker clubs. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association
