Cletus C. "Clete" Friedman

Cletus C. “Clete” Friedman, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Janet E. Friedman; cherished son of the late Ignatius “Ned” and Helen Friedman; devoted father of Joan (Roy) Egeland, Marsha (the late Troy) Bowell; dear brother of Joseph (Phyllis) Friedman, the late Zita (Roy) Muffler, the late Crescenta (Al) Lange and the late Clarence (Roslyn survives) Friedman; beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many. 

Clete proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of St. Charles American Legion post #312 and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. 

Cletus was an avid golfer and bowler. Most of all, he was a wonderful husband, father and friend to his neighbors. 

The Friedman family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Clarendale St Peters and Solace Hospice.

Cletus was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
