Clifford Jackson “Jack” Smith
April 20, 1939 — June 30, 2020
Clifford Jackson "Jack" Smith of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 81 on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Smith; his children, Cathy A. (Bobby Nunn) Smith, Gary B. (Angela) Smith, and Carla J. (Jim) Snodgras; his grandchildren, Austin, Megan Smith and Kody Snodgras; his siblings, Ricky L. (Brenda) Smith and Talitha (late Cecil ) McCray; his brother-in-law, Thomas (the late Terri) Mullen; and his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Cardinal and Dorothy Smith.
Jack retired from McDonnell Douglas after over 35 years of service, proudly served his country in the United States Army, and remained active with American Legion Post 312 in St. Charles. He loved watching sports and his two favorite teams – the St. Louis Cardinals and the Blues. Being out tending to his garden was a relaxing way to spend time for Jack. Jack will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial contributions in Jack’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
