Clifford James Moellering

Clifford James Moellering Sr. of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018, at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Zeiddy Moellering; cherished son of Frieda L. Knittle and the late Herbert F. Moellering; devoted father of Martina Marie Meng, Michelle Mercedes Meng, Clifford James (Veronica) Moellering Jr., and Amy Lynn (Tom) Hall; loving grandfather of Annysia Moellering; dear brother of Mark Moellering, Gary Moellering, Carl Moellering, and John Paul Knittle; and adored uncle of Esvin E. Alvarado, and Zeiddy Zelaya. Clifford is also survived by father and mother-in-law Rene and Ana Suazo; siblings-in-law Martina A. Suazo, Arturo R. Suazo, and Anna G. Suazo; and treasured friend Cynthia Horan. He was also preceded in death by his brother Herbert Moellering.

Clifford proudly served in the United States Military. He was Active Duty Navy from when he turned 17 then rejoined the Active Duty Army to finally be in the Army National Guard. During his service he was deployed to serve during Desert Storm and in several other missions around the world. Along with his military service, Clifford was a police officer for over 20 years and was a proud member of both organizations. He deeply loved his family, friends, and pets and will be remembered for the rest of our days.
