Memorials may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital. Thomas, Clyde James "Jim", of Florissant, Missouri, died on Friday, June 20, 2008 at the age of 95. Dear husband of the late Mary C. Thomas, dearest son of the late John and Nellie Thomas; loving father of Sonie (Richard) Singer; cherished grandfather of Shari Ruddy and Cathy (Ed) Antle; loving great grandfather of Andrea Ruddy, Eddie, Andy, Jeremiah, Jared and Caitlyn and the late Molly Elizabeth Antle; loving brother of the late John Thomas, his identical twin; beloved uncle and special friend at Delmar Garden Villas North. He was the owner of Overland Restorium in Overland, Missouri. Mr. Thomas served in the United States Army during WWII. He was captured in the Battle of the Bulge. Mr.Thomas was a Prisoner of War for five months in Germany. He was a recpient of four Bronze Stars. Jim was a very social person, who loved to be with people. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes all the time. One of his favorite pastimes was dancing. He was a Mason in the Paul Revere Masonic Lodge, Baden, MO; He was a member of the Moolah Shriner's, St. Louis, MO; He was a member of the Moolah Shriner's Drum Corp..
