Clyde W. Jenkins, age 78 of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at St. Johns, Mercy Hospital. Born on August 27, 1936 to Clarance and Cora (Kay) Jenkins, in Salem, MO. The patriarch of his family, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Jenkins; his children Michael (Cara), Karen Sievers, Barb (Mark Pomirko), Kelly (John Dunphy), and daughter-in-law Laura; his twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son Steven. Beloved brother to Maxine Decker, Faye Baum and Jeannie Kuykendall. Proceded in death by two sisters, Zelma and Ruth, and three brothers, Ray, Carl, and Clark. Treasured Uncle, and friend of many.
Clyde was an accomplished entrepreneur, deeply loved his family, enjoyed his time playing golf, reading and visiting the ocean. Clyde possessed a deep respect for animals. He sincerely enjoyed time spent with his pet dogs Truman and Reagan.
A private memorial in his honor will be held to celebrate the life of a man who will be dearly missed.
