Connie Haynes Bradford Hebel of Maryland Heights, MO, passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 66. Connie was born on May 11, 1957, to Keith and Bernice Haynes in Cape Girardeau, MO. She attended Jackson High School and graduated in 1975. She graduated from SEMO University in 1978 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and English. Her first teaching job was in Sikeston, MO, at Lee Hunter Elementary. She later moved to Maryland Heights, MO, where she taught at Cold Water Elementary, Hazelwood School District. In 1998, she was honored as Teacher of the Year. After teaching for 31 years, Connie retired in 2009. Her love for teaching continued as she subbed for 11 more years. She loved to travel, garden and spend time with her family, especially her three grandsons. She was very active in Pattonville's PTA and attended First Baptist Church.
Connie loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and teacher. Her loving and beautiful heart touched all those she met throughout her life, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Connie is preceded in death by her father Keith Haynes. She is survived by her loving husband Gary Hebel; her mother Bernice Haynes; her children Sarah (Akis) Bradford Loukas, David (Morgan) Bradford, and Melissa Bradford; her grandchildren Kohen, Eli, Nik, and Lexi (plus another grandbaby on the way!); her bonus children Stephanie Brooks, Gary (Nicole) Hebel Jr., Brian Hebel, and Timmy Hebel; her brother Mike (Linda) Haynes and several nieces and nephews.
