Conrad Fredrick Schwarztrauber III, passed away Friday evening, July 19, 2024 at the age of 82. Conrad was born in St. Louis on September 9, 1941 and was the son of the late Conrad Fredrick Schwarztrauber II and the late Catherine Schwarztrauber; He was the first of 3 children followed by Cathy (Dan) Simmons and the late Michael Schwarztrauber.
Conrad known as Connie to his family and Fred to all of his friends went on to marry his high school sweetheart, Vickie after attending college. He and Vickie are survived by their daughters Kim (Steve) Dreon and Jill Schwarztrauber, grandchildren Randy Schwarztrauber, Sarah Dreon and Joshua Dreon and their late great granddaughter Brooke Schwarztrauber.
In 1978 Fred and Vickie decided to start a business in order to support their family and the lifestyle they wanted. While Vickie was in charge of the office, Fred was the Sales and Customer Service Expert. Many years as a salesman allowed them to create a successful Computer Forms business for 30 years.
Fred loved to try many new things throughout his lifetime. He always went all in on every new venture. He went from scuba diving which he loved and traveling to new dive locations. Fred carved wood and made beautiful ball point pens. He did many wood working projects such as outdoor chairs and shaker boxes. He loved to play golf and go fishing.
Fred was devoted to his family and for many years doing the errands, shopping, laundry, ironing and always the perfect dishwasher!! He loved to serve and he did that each Sunday morning as an usher at the church he and Vickie attended.
Conrad was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
