Conrad V. Kast

Kast, Conrad V., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the age of 99. Loving husband of the late Mary Ann Kast; beloved son of the late Joseph Conrad and Edith Kast; devoted father of Connie Mayfield, Larry (Doti) Kast, Murray (Judy) Kast, Kevin (Jan) Kast, and Terry (Jeff) Nunn; cherished grandfather of Ken, Tim, Dan, Susan, Megan, Jenny, Julie, Joseph, Elizabeth, Sada, Emily, Caitlin, and John; treasured great-grandfather of eighteen and great-great-grandfather of one. Conrad is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Merl Kast.
Conrad raised and trained horses. He enjoyed going to the horsetrack, and was very good at betting on horses.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses, and employees at St. Joseph Health Center and SSM Hospice. Thanks for all of the love, compassion, and support to the staff at Mount Carmel Senior Living.
