Constance J. Whelan

Constance J. "Connie" Whelan, age 57, of St. Charles, Missouri, died Saturday, December 19, 2009, at her residence. A Daughter of the late William and Mildred Orebaugh (nee: Johnston), Connie was born on June 22, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio. Connie loved the St. Louis Zoo and was a member of the National Wildlife Association. She worked for Schnucks before her retirement in the Deli Department as a Clerk. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (William) Mowry of St. Charles, Missouri; her brothers, Carlton (Cher) Orebaugh of Worthington, Ohio and Malcom (Sally) Orebaugh of Gallipolis, Ohio. She was a beloved aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to many. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent E. Whelan and her parents. A Memorial Service will be celebrated by Rev. Mr. Thomas Willbrand on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, 7:00 PM at Baue Funeral Home Chapel, 620 Jefferson Street, St. Charles, MO. Private interment at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
