Cora Boekemier
April 6, 1924 — January 12, 2022
Cora K. Boekemier (nee Cleary), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late William Boekemier; cherished daughter of the late Richard J. and Cecilia Cleary; devoted mother of Carl (Linda) Boekemier, Patricia Kern, Joan (Donald) Lesley, the late Mark Boekemier, Una (Ronald) McKeage, and Erick Boekemier; father-in-law of the late Richard Kern; loving grandfather of Michele Lesley, Nicole Lesley, Amber (James) Garrett, Meagan Lesley, Jennifer (Anthony) Meloy, Heather McKeage, Timothy Boekemier and the late Nicholas Kern; treasured great-grandmother of five; Cora is preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Cleary, Edward Cleary, Kirk Cleary, Germaine Cleary, Clementine House, Cecilia Evans, Estelle Richards, and Ellen Emily Cleary.
Cora was a homemaker all of her life. She was a member of St. Cletus Catholic Church for many years. Cora enjoyed embroidering and raising birds, most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cora was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Cora's name to Susan Komen Cancer Research.
