Cordelia Ann Kline
February 15, 1942 — October 20, 2021
Cordelia “Ann” Kline, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the age of 79. Loving wife of 62 years to Dennis “Buzzy” Kline; beloved daughter of the late Myrtle and Fred Reef; devoted mother of Billy (Tracey) Kline, Robby (Kim) Kline, Timmy (Lynnie) Kline and the late Tony Kline; cherished grandmother of Joey (Carrie) Kline, Jake (Teri) Kline, Sammy Kline, Kelsie (Andrew) Holmes, Crystaal (Luke) Christisen, Hunter Kline, Cole Kline, Brandon Silverberg, Nick Rogers, Lauren Rogers, Deidra Rizzello, Melissa Weatherly, Joe Jennings, Jordyn Tipton, Andrew Rizzello and Kelli Gorman; dear sister of Charles Reef, the late Susie (Bob) Teckemeier and the late Irene (Dutch) Sulhoff. Ann grew up in St. Charles, where her family lived in the First State Capitol building during her childhood. She met her true love, Buzzy, at a party one night and when their eyes met, it was love at first sight! They married after a brief courtship and shared a love for farming and hunting. Ann was a woman of many talents. Besides, helping Buzzy run the farm, she was in charge of their duck club and fish market. She loved waiting on the customers, and she was the best fish dresser Buzzy ever knew. For 15 years, Ann also took care of the family pub, Kline’s Tavern, where she fried fish at the door and welcomed everyone in. To relax, Ann liked to go duck hunting with her husband and hang out at the dirt track races. She loved the outdoors and always looked forward to camping and fishing trips in southern Missouri with her family. Ann was a very good cook, and she made the best fried pork chops, and Buzzy’s favorite, sauerkraut and pigtails. Ann enjoyed knitting and making hats and sweaters for her grandkids. In her spare time, she also liked to do crossword puzzles. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids, they were the light of her life! Ann was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made in Ann's name to Alzheimer's Association or Macular Degeneration.
