Corrine “Jackie” Marvin

Corrine Jacoline “Jackie” (Smits) Marvin age 68, went home to be with the Lord November 17, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. She was born February 4, 1949 in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Beloved wife of Donald A. Marvin; cherished daughter of the late Corrine and Jack Smits; devoted mother to Jack (Jennifer) Marvin, Shawn (Rebecca) Marvin, and the late Brad Marvin; loving grandmother to Alize, Devyn, Katie, Lexi, Sammie, Connor, Abby, and Bennett Marvin.

Jackie and her husband Don enjoyed 50 years of marriage. She worked as a beautician while living in California until moving to Titusville, Fl. Jackie retired from Kennedy Space Center after 28 years working as a Configuration Analyst with the shuttle program.

During her husband Don’s active years at the Azan Shrine Center, Jackie was a member of the Eastern Star and the Ladies of Oriental Shrine. She served as President of the Ladies of Noble (LON) in 2001 and 2003. She also served as First Lady of the Azan Shrine Center in 2008.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jackie’s name to Shriner’s Hospital.
