Creda Mae Guthrie

Creda Mae Guthrie, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the age of 77. Loving wife of Edward P. Guthrie; dear daughter of the late Lawrence and Irma Snead; cherished mother of Chrisell Guthrie, William Guthrie, Judy (Greg) Bredenkoetter-Smick, Kathryn Puder, Sandra (Pat) Duggan, Edward Guthrie and Kevin (Janet) Guthrie; beloved grandmother of Jennifer, Matthew, Jennie, Ryan, Michael, Bradley, Michael, Thomas, Jacob, Ashley, Jessica, Lauren and Johnathan; great-grandmother of Kiersten and Kaden. Creda was a dear cousin and friend to many and to her classmates from Roosevelt High School and Mullanphy Elementary School. She was a member of Sts. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church; St. Ann Sodality and Roosevelt High School Alumni Association. Creda was a loyal parishioner at St. Bartholomew Parish until its closure where she worked not only as school secretary, but later as office manager in the parish rectory. She was also a member of the St. Ann's Sodality. She gave countless hours to her church community. Creda was loved by all. She lived her life graciously and humbly.
