Curtis Lee Cunningham Sr.

Curtis Lee Cunningham Sr., of St. Peters, MO, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Lois (nee Bernat) Cunningham; cherished son of the late Oakley Cunningham and the late Nina Melvin; devoted father of Curtis (Cathy) Cunningham, Jr., Patrick (Mary Kay) Cunningham, and Jennifer (Russell) Reed; loving grandfather of Jeremiah Reed, Kaitlyn Cunningham, Douglas Cunningham, and Abbey Sullivan; treasured great-grandfather of Brinley and Colton; dear brother of the late Mary Lou Chamberlain, the late Kay Miller, and the late William Cunningham.

Curtis proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in O’Fallon, MO, a proud blood donor with the Red Cross and he retired from McDonell Douglas. He loved square dancing, country music, playing the banjo, harmonica and was learning to play the ukulele. Curtis enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time with his family. He loved his family and was very in love with his late wife, Lois. Curtis was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Curtis's name to American Diabetes Association.
