Cyrus Boyer

Cyrus Boyer, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at the age of 86. Loving husband of 60 wonderful years to Bobbie Sue Boyer; beloved son of the late Cyrus and Mary Boyer; devoted father of Dean E. (Della) Boyer, Pamela S. Boyer, and Connie D. Kirkwood; proud grandfather of Jon (Jenn) Boyer, Joel (Jennifer) Boyer, Laura Deeken, and Stephanie Spencer; treasured great-grandfather of 9; and dear brother of James (Liz) Boyer, Wayne (Carole) Boyer, Emogene Stevens, Joyce Blanton, and Joan (Edward) Laurance.

In addition to his parents, Cyrus was preceded in death by his siblings, Warren Boyer, Ronald Boyer, Mayburn Cumbie, Jane Peek, and Kenneth Boyer.

Cyrus honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in St. Charles, Missouri. He loved music and enjoyed playing the keyboard, harmonica, and guitar. In his younger years, he played baseball and softball. Cyrus was always a gentleman and will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, happiness, and warmth. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
