Elise Cissell

D. Elise Cissell (nee Wilcutt), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Cissell, Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Daniel and Chastine Cognac. Devoted mother of Deborah (David) Kleinschmidt, Karen (Russell) Avery and Robert (Connie) Cissell; loving grandmother and great-grandmother; dear sister of Donna (Donald) Chrisco; aunt, great-aunt, friend to many. Preceded in death by her son, Williams "Bill" Cissell, Jr.; two brothers, D.C. Wilcutt and Ronald Cognac.

Elise had a passion for golfing and bowling and was a lifetime member of Bogey Hills Country Club. She enjoyed playing Bridge and was a dedicated volunteer with Birthright St. Charles for many years. Elise had a beautiful love for singing, was a talented cook, and took great joy in decorating her home for the holidays. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family. Elise was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Elise's name to Christian Brothers College High School, Birthright St. Charles, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
