Daisy Loretta Oberle

Daisy Loretta Oberle (nee Thebeau), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Frank Albert Oberle, Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Peter and Mary Esther Thebeau; devoted mother of Patsy (Kenny) Dillon, Sandi (Dennis) Shine, Frank A. (Judy) Oberle, Sheila (Vernon) House, Pam (Boyd) House and Mary (Tom) Tiesing; loving grandmother of Charlene (Mark) Neal, Malissa (Curt) Pistol, Jennifer (Pat) Herter, Karen (Ken Somogyi) Shine, Kathleen (Eric) Williams, Heidi (Kevin) Barrett, Bradley (Michelle) House, Andy (Tara) House, Vernon (Sarah) House, Wayne House, Erike (Elizabeth) House, Elisha (Travis) Norris and Tommy (Taylor) Thornberry; great-grandmother of 28; great-great-grandmother of 8; dear sister of Donald Thebeau.

Daisy is also preceded in death by her siblings, Lilly Jarvis, Louis Thebeau, Melvin Thebeau, Evelyn Thebeau, Everette Thebeau, Alma Hawkins, Rose Fischer and Darlene Perkins

Daisy was born in Hazelwood, Missouri to Mary Esther and Peter Thebeau and was the seventh of ten children. Daisy attended Rosary School and then joined the workforce working at a variety of places including, Curtis Wright, Emerson Electric and the St. Charles School District.

Daisy was known for her faith and her love of her family! She married Frank Oberle on September 9, 1946 and they were married for 57 years.

She had a love of gardening, and her tomatoes would gain her notoriety at the local farmers market. She was also an excellent cook and known for her homemade mac n’ cheese, coleslaw, skinny pancakes and buttermilk cake.
