She savored being with friends and traveling to countries such as Japan, Germany, Switzerland, England, Israel, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Norway, Canada and throughout the United States. She not only admired beautiful landmarks, scenery and landscaping, but she would effortlessly re-create them with her water colors, oils, pencils and ink. She was a skilled seamstress; she also painted porcelain dolls and made hair bows, as well as created elaborate decorations for virtually every holiday and special occasion for her home and her church.
