Dana Carapella

Dana Carapella, of Jefferson City, Missouri, died on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the age of 43. Loving husband of Melinda Carapella (nee: Spalding); dear son of Angelo and Brenda Carapella; devoted father of Tyler Sharpe and Suzanne Sharpe; cherished grandfather of Matthew Abbott; dear brother of Paul Carapella; dear grandson of Phyllis Grandberg; and son-in-law of Sandy Spalding. He is also survived by many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Angelo Carapella and father-in-law of David "Tony" Spalding.
Dana was a cook at the Madison's Cafe for over 20 years. He enjoyed playing golf and loved the St. Louis Blues and Led Zeppelin. He was an animal lover, but dogs were especially cherished by him. He was deeply loved and will be missed.
