Daniel “Dan” Swift of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 64 on Saturday, July 31, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Shirley Gannan; and two brothers, Michael and Patrick “Pat” Swift.
Dan is survived by his wife, Kimberly Swift; his children, Daniel Joseph "Joey" (Jennifer) Swift II, Mallory E. (Michael) Boyd, Cameron R. (Tiffany A. Moore) Swift, and Brady G. (Ashleigh) Swift; his grandchildren, Hayden, Madeline "Maddy", Ethan, and Anna Beth Swift, Liam and Nolan Boyd, Emery Swift, Ellison "Ellie" and Easton Swift, and soon to be born Walker Daniel Swift; his siblings, Harvey (Catherine) Swift, Karen (Keith) Wray, and Linda (David) Kelsen; his siblings-in-law, Heather (Gary) Inglis and Ralph (Kayla) Osborne; and he was a beloved uncle, cousin, and friend.
Dan held membership with the Knights Templar. He was known as a man with very strong ethics and an outstanding moral character. Though he was a man of few words, Dan never met a stranger throughout his life and he was loved for his welcoming personality. He was truly humble with a great sense of compassion for others – he’d always do whatever he could to help out anyone. Above everything, Dan was proud of his family and he loved them so much. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
