Daniel J. Schmittling

Daniel J. Schmittling, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at the age of 60. Cherished son of the late Paul and Clarita Schmittling; dear brother of Barb (Tom) Mennemeier, Paul Schmittling, Steve (Judy Benson) Schmittling, Mary Moughton and Cecilia (Scot Parsons) Schweig; treasured uncle of Nephew, John (Nikki) Schmittling, Jaimes (Jennifer) Schmittling, Corey (Brittany) Schweig, Jacob (Maria Pizzo) Schmittling Allie (Mike Flacke) Schweig, Cary Schmittling, William (Jiya) Moughton, Kate Schweig, Avery Mann and Asher Hastings; great-uncle of Cole and Gwen Schmittling.

Daniel is also preceded in death by Dane Schmittling and the Schmittling Twins.

Daniel loved raising his angelfish, he loved fishing, kayaking and going to his brother’s farm. Family was a major part of his life and happiness. He loved all of his nieces and nephews like they were his own. Daniel was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Daniel's name to American Cancer Society or American Parkinson Disease Association.
