Daniel P. Card II

Daniel P. Card II, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the age of 71. Loving husband of Lou Ann Card; beloved son of the late Henrietta Renshaw Whiting and the late Samuel P. Card, Sr.; dear stepson of Richard Whiting; devoted father of Diana Walchshauser (Paul Miko); and treasured brother of Rita Bourgeois (Mike Gerkin), Thomas (Anne) Card, Rosa Whiting, Sharon (Jospeh) Fiumara, Samuel P. Card, Jr., Carolynne (Roland) Shumate, Marianne Warner, and Michael Card. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Daniel was a prominent attorney who coauthored the manual for the Missouri Appellate Court proceedings. He was a graduate of Trinity College and the University of Virginia School of Law. He was also on the Council for Missourians with Disabilities and was active in the Missouri State Attorney General’s Office early in his career. Daniel loved sailing on Carlyle Lake and having a spirited debate. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
