Danny Schneider

Schneider, Danny, born on August 26, 1943 in St. Charles, MO peacefully passed on Friday, July 6, 2012 at the age of 68. Dear son of the late R. Leslie Schneider and the late Marguerite Schneider. Loving husband of 23 years to Phyllis Schneider (nee: Booker); devoted father of David A. Schneider, Paul V. Schneider, Bobby J. (Shelly) Schneider, Tricia C. (Gary) Bargen, and Kelly E. Schneider; cherished "Bobo" to his grandchildren Sarah, Alexis, Sara, Danny, Ella, Ayden, and Avery; dear brother of Richard Schneider, Gerry (Jim) Duly, Steven (Deb) Schneider, Mary Widaman, Gene (Terri) Schneider, Tom (Sandy) Schneider, and Tim (Cathy) Schneider, and beloved son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, and great-uncle. He is preceded in death by his son Steven Schneider, and brothers Jim and Billy Schneider. Danny was a proud member of IBEW Local #1. He was also a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Retirees Club of IBEW, and coached and played softball and basketball for many years. Danny's greatest passion in life was first and foremost his family. Thanks to the generosity of his donor family, Danny began his second life 17 years ago when he received a new heart. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, Danny would want his friends to commit to organ donation – "donate life" or consider a memorial donation to Mid America Transplant Services, American Heart Association, or the charity of your choice.
