Darleen Alma Edwards

Darleen Alma Edwards, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the age of 84. Loving wife of the late John Edwards; beloved daughter of the late Elmer and Linda Hollrah; devoted mother of Brian (Susan) Ermeling, David (Ellen) Ermeling, and Sarah (Jacob) Long; cherished grandmother of Melissa (Jeremy) Hodge, Amber (Christopher) Tegtmeyer, Matthew Ermeling, Candis (John) Galloway, Drake Long, and Coraline Long; treasured great-grandmother of Emma Hodge, Elea Hodge, Graham Tegtmeyer, Olivia Tegtmeyer, Jack Galloway, Will Galloway, and Lucas Galloway; loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Darleen was also preceded in death by her brother, Paul (Joyce, survived) Hollrah; sister, Edith (Edward) Quigley. 

Darleen was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she was a part of the Ladies Guild. She was involved with the Washington, MO farmers market where she was known for her various flavors of jelly, baked goods, and homegrown vegetables. In her earlier years, Darleen was an avid bowler and organist and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She continued to love singing, the St. Louis Cardinals, and spending time with her family and friends throughout her later years. She was also a two-time cancer survivor. She adored her family and was willing to do anything for them. Darleen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Darleen's name to The Holy Cross Lutheran Church or Five Acres Animal Shelter.
