Darlene Damon

Darlene Damon, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the age of 76. She was the beloved daughter of the late Onie W. and Nedrah F. Smith; devoted mother of Gary D. Schmidt and Tracy L. Damon; cherished grandmother of Jill, Michelle, Crystal, Bradley, and Deanna; treasured great-grandmother of Lilian, Elijah, Aaron, Madison, Piper, Jacob, Owen, Collin, and Brock; and was loved by many other family and friends, including Bill Ewing. Darlene was a long-standing member of the Missouri State Board of Realtors, and a former president of the St. Charles Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors. Darlene worked as a Real Estate Broker for Alvin Emmendorfer Realty and for Dolan Realty. She also worked as an Escrow Closer for Investors Title Company. Darlene loved animals and she supported the St. Charles Humane Society (now Five Acres Animal Shelter). She was a proud sponsor of KETC - Channel 9 PBS. Memorial donations may be made to Five Acres Animal Shelter or to the ASPCA.
