Datesy "Jannette" Phillips (nee McGhee), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the age of 74. Loving wife of the late Donald Phillips; beloved daughter of the late Glenn McGhee and Janice Rhodes; devoted mother of Jane Phillips, Sarah Phillips, and Rachel (Matt) Deason; cherished Mimi of Meda Phillips, Hadley Phillips, and Warren Deason; dear sister of Ed McGhee, Mick (Jane) McGhee, Jeff (Chris) McGhee. Jannette is also preceded in death by her brother, Darrell McGhee.

Jannette was a devoted wife, mother, and Mimi, known for her incredible sweetness, generosity, and love. With a remarkable green thumb, she loved growing flowers and picking bouquets. Her great sense of humor and love for laughter were infectious. She remained a dedicated member of her church throughout her life. Antiquing and going out to lunch were among her favorite pastimes, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Family meant everything to her. Jannette was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
