Dave Clapper

David “Dave” Clapper, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Rebecca Clapper; cherished son of the late Alonzo and Leona Clapper. Devoted father of David Clapper and Anne (Tim Hinton) Clapper; loving grandfather of Addie Lynn Hinton; dear brother of Minnie Wilson, Jim (Brenda) Clapper, and the late Tom Clapper

Dave proudly served in the United States Army, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to his country. He shared 48 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Becky, building a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. An avid fisherman and golfer, Dave found great joy in spending time on the water, whether casting a line or enjoying a peaceful day of boating. He had a close-knit group of fishing friends with whom he shared countless adventures, stories, and camaraderie. Fishing was more than just a hobby for Dave—it was a passion that brought him a sense of peace and fulfillment. Dave was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Dave's name to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
