David A. “Dave” Haynes

David A. “Dave” Haynes, of O’Fallon Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the age of 65. Loving husband of 25 years to Elaine Lograsso-Haynes; son of the late Charles and Jeanne (Holland) Haynes; Stepfather to Bryan (Jennifer) Lograsso and Joseph (Kathi) Lograsso; devoted grandfather to Taylor Resley (Nick), Zach Hayes, Brennan and Conner Lograsso; brother to Susan (Joe) Austin, and to the late Mark Haynes; uncle and friend to many.

Dave was an over-the-road truck driver with Shapiro Metal Company for 30 years, and a proud member of the Teamsters.  He had a love of golf, bowling, and fishing, after being taught how to by Elaine. He enjoyed watching and was one of the best “cheerleaders” you could ask for in the stands at his grandchildren’s games. And for those who knew Dave best, you also know how much he enjoyed sharing stories.
