David B. Pieper

Pieper, David, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the age of 75. Loving husband of Jean Pieper; beloved son of the late Curtis and Olga Pieper; devoted father of Tracy (Michael) Brown, Kristi (Larkin) O'Keefe, and Melanie (Mark) Zuanich; cherished grandfather of Kate, Matt, Molly, Emma, and Anthony; dear brother of Nan (Rich) Powell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Dean Pieper.
David was a loving husband of 53 years, adoring father to 3 girls, and devoted 'Grandpa' to 5 grandchildren. He had a great love of all sports, he was an avid Jayhawks and Cardinals fan and a lifelong animal lover. His most cherished memories were annual family vacations to the beach in Topsail Island, North Carolina. His was a life well lived and he will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Five Acres Animal Shelter.
