Dave married Carol on May 1, 1965 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Together, they spent the majority of their time in the Saint Peters & O’Fallon area. They were devoted members of All Saints Catholic Church. Dave also spent countless hours volunteering his time over the years coaching his children, nephews, and grandchildren in several sports.
Dave also enjoyed traveling with his family, visiting historical sites and landmarks across America. He loved watching classical movies, historical documentaries, and westerns with Carol. Dave also loved playing cards & billiards, family get-togethers & bar-b-queuing and enjoying a cocktail on the deck with family and friends.
This exceptional man was known for always putting others before himself; volunteering, taking time to listen to others, sharing a kind word, being an advocate, and mentoring. His family and friends were the center of his world, and he treasured every moment he spent with them. David was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Celebration of Life for Dave will be in mid-October 2024. At the celebration, remembrances can be made through contributions to one of Dave's athletic organizations instead of flowers.
