David “Eddie” Griffith, of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the age of 21. Cherished son of Christina Griffith and the late David E. Griffith, Sr.; beloved grandson of Phil and Jeannine Ford; dear brother of Nicholas Zumwalt, Ayla Marie Zumwalt; treasured nephew of Natalie (Malcolm) Yawn, Michael Ford, Dan (Karolyn) Ford, Gene Griffith, Walter Griffith, Tom Griffith, Joe Griffith, Dan Griffith, Veronica Griffith Lampe, Lorraine Griffith Fry, Marie Griffith Keen and the late Patrick Griffith. Eddie is also survived by many cousins.
Eddie was a true golfer, and he started playing when he was just 8 years old. He was in the Junior Golf Program at Bogey Hills Country Club for 10 years, and he made many friends with other junior golfers and the pro staff at Bogey Hills.
Eddie was a good-hearted man and would do anything for anyone. He loved being around people and would make friends wherever he went. He really liked to socialize on his Facebook page, relax at home, and play his Xbox games when he could. He loved dogs and cats, and he adopted a German Shepherd, who he named Vegas, that totally adored him and was always by his side.
More than anything, Eddie loved being around his family and going to family get-togethers. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eddie's name to
Missouri Humane Society.
